It's funny. I've grown up with like the Asian (it's white, clear, pretty sure it's some kind of plastic [lol micro plastics]) oil separator my entire life. It ain't soup without it

Been hitting those heavy leg days once a week at the gym. Feels great to round out the week with them. My other two days at the gym are fairly balanced work outs or strictly cardio but at least 1 heavy leg day with almost as much as I can bear
Been quite happy with the results and strengthening glutes and hamstrings. I have a herniated disc in my lower lumbar which has been a problem for a decade and after I badly injured it again 2 years ago I could make that Vertebrae “click” when doing Yoga and stretching. Whether that’s just a tendon or muscle rolling over it or the actual disk I don’t know
However, with the consistent leg workouts and stretching I’ve kind of eliminated that clicking, which I hope means more stability and muscle

Worth mentioning how much mental health stuff can increase the physical feeling.
I hurt my shoulder pretty bad (long standing injury due to dozens of dislocations) so I can't really work out worth a shit right now.
Went to therapy for the first time in months and did some breathwork for the first couple times and some yoga also for the first couple times.
The culture behind it and the bitch yaletown moms who yell at hostesses always made me dismiss them but can say just after a few days I feel like mobility and tension that I've lived with for years due to stress is apparent and becoming much better. This is a lot more about feeling good than looking good for me (since I already look fantastic) and think you guys should give it a go to help if you're having trouble with the mental aspect of the fitness stuff.
I know it all sounds pretty horseshit but I promise I'm not talking about moon winds and mercury being in the wrong spot or whatever the fuck.

yup its so expensive now that some practicioners are not even advertising the length anymore, they just say "initial" or "follow up" and those are 45m and 30m. for physio i find that it's enough, but for RMT i want my full hour. i just do 45m RMT now so i can get 5 sessions in a year instead of like 3-4.

Have $2500 coverage for each service it isn’t blanket RMT/physio/Chiro like most, it’s pretty sweet. Biggest thing is finding a proper RMT that’s close to home though. Have been dealing with the same one for 2-3 years now and she’s only about a 10 minute walk away so the convenience is likely why I’ve been able to go so much.

Find yourself a nurse boys. I get unlimited massage, it's fucking fantastic.
I could be like Deshaun Watson and visit every RMT in Vancouver if I wanted to.

About 5 years ago my wife had unlimited massage and physio, they changed that shit but at that time I was going almost weekly.

Oh but if a manager in the fed government gets a bonus it’s a crime against humanity right? lol
I guess some agencies are only provincially funded so it’s just a lesser crown money going to waste

I guess some agencies are only provincially funded so it’s just a lesser crown money going to waste | I'd be cool with government employees getting great benefits if they split one package between 11 people like they do with their workload.

i think i'm misisng out here | If you book one of the RMT’s at the Fairmont spa you get access to the rest of the spa as a result. And by having the RMT massage you can claim it

The carrier will pay up to the R&C rate which varies from carrier to carrier, but is generally around $120-$130 per hour in BC.
Scandinave, Spa Utopia, Fairmount all charge above R&C (reasonable and customary amount) for massage (around $200ish per hour), so you're partially out of pocket. Given that places like Scandinave charge around $130 just visit without a massage, it's more than worth it to book a massage and pay that $80 difference between insurer R&C and the actual cost.
You're essentially subsidizing your visit of these places that include ancillary stuff like hot tubs, wine and shit by having a massage paid for by your benefits.
