Funny story. A number of years ago, I was in Los Angeles visiting family and they were on the tail end of wrapping up a restaurant for sale to its new owner. I parked at the end of the block and started walking towards the restaurant, having to cross the street. A black couple also cross the street from the opposite end, but they came up to me and combatively asked me why I crossed the street. I told them I was going to the restaurant, and they both said, "Okay, so are we. It's our favourite place." Total WTF moment. :pokerface:

i was in LA one time and had a hankering for chicken. the best rated chicken joints were right outside of LAX in ghetto ass Inglewood and compton

I went to this joint, I forgot the name, but there was a lineup and I was the only chinamen there. The boys were all like

WTF YOU DOING HERE!??!!??!
I'm like CHICKEN !!!!
and they were like wurd up.

Best chicken I had in LA. Mmmmm MMM!!!! good eat'ing
