Owners seem to like the A3 and it seems fairly reliable.
Alternative is Chevy Volt - only in 2024 has the Prius Prime finally come close in range.

Isn't Chevy Volt pure EV? ... whereas Clarity and that gen A3 e-tron are PHEV. Not really same comparison.

Volt is crazy slept on, till better than current PHEV

1) PHEV with 85km of range still better than Prius Prime
2) Recharges 2X as fast as Prius Prime / NX450h+
3) Support Comma.AI for highway hands free self drive

It does city streets now too, with stop and go, stop sign and traffic light recognition, turns through intersections, changes lanes (both hwy and city).

Handles unmarked lanes ok as well: it loosely divides the road up in half and sticks to the right. Weaves around parked cars.

It also does navigate on autopilot.

All hands free (has a head & eye tracking algorithm looking through a driver facing cam to see if you're distracted or even asleep).

It also makes use of the OE radar in addition to its vision system so there's less of that Tesla phantom braking stuff.

Super impressive for a community driven kluge of HW and SW, that you just stick onto your windshield!
