Beetle GT3, now with more backseat Fuck you to Dark for showing me this. https://www.youtube.com/live/8od07dj...wC6J0pv6&t=507 The 992.2 GT3 Touring will have optional back seats. I've been pining for a GT3 that I can take the kids in. Now I need to find 400k in the next 3 years. How much do kidneys sell for? |
LAWL hahahaha Kidneys are between $60,000 to $100,000 USD depending on your health and age... https://i.imgur.com/v2xAcKf.jpeg |
If your weekend toy happens to be an impractical car, why does it need to have space for your kids? When they are old enough, they can sit shotgun with you (albeit one at a time). |
Chris Harris + Andreas Preuninger is my favourite bromance. |

I'd be happy with the 992.2 GTS, and it is *only* $206k. You guys have hook ups for hiring gigolos, right? |
Love the first minute of this Throttle House review of the 718 Spyder RS which illustrates the Porsche allocation game: https://youtu.be/vKHX8_A55IM?si=KmpPXslJqRrxpZ_W |

yes and no, it just depends on who you know and if you were at the right place at the right time i have 2 examples 1. I myself was given a 992.1 GT3 allocation by a local Porsche dealer (a few of my close friends know this, i freaked out, i was like i won the lottery!), no, not just a deposit, but was called in after my deposit (albiet 30 months after my deposit) to go in the showroom and spec my car. I considered all options, divorce, selling my house, HELOC even asking my mom once I got the call, it just wasnt meant to be. But I have had 0 history with the brand, so if i had money... my first ever P car would have been my own built to spec GT3! (the only caveat was that i needed minimum $50k options, i have been thru the configurator so many times, even without this caveat, my own spec will have 50k worth of shit on top anyways) 2. My neighbor, also had 0 Porsche history, was called in to spec his 992.1 GT3 in January, he told me he only gave his deposit the previous April (unlike the 30 months i had to endure), and he picked up his GT3 Touring in Sept. So it does happen, you can walk in and talk to a few Porsche advisors, it can actually happen. LOL feels like its easier to get a GT3 than a Type R Porsche is no longer the brand we grew up with. Porsche used to be very proud and can state every 911 being built at the factory is build to order with a customer waitting on the other side. That is no longer the case, there are so many 992.1 911 (albiet not the GT series) that are built and sent to dealers with no customers and the factory is hoping the dealer will find someone to buy a pre-built pre-speced 911 Times have changed... |
hmmm i am looking for a smaller daily.... add it to the list! :considered: Spoiler! |
The beetle to me was always a value all-in-one sports car and now that the GT3 starts at probably $280k before options it’s kinda hard to justify… Like even a Carrera S highly optioned or a GTS cost more than a R8 |
They are out of their damn minds with that pricing. Effectively Ferrari Roma money for a stupid beetle. |
$300k for a flat 6:joy: |
997 GT3 and i'd be set. |

Watch them sell like mad. |
I can’t even tell the damn difference between this one and the previous 992. The hell do they even do ? I can be a 911 designer… 1- make it fatter 2- make it uglier 3- make it more expensive Even that license plate in the Chris Harris video. Stupid9922 |

He's gonna spend $30000 to wrap it China Corolla blue anyways |

Ever since Piech died VW and Porsche has gone downhill a lot. Piech was the one who said he wanted a golf to have better quality than a Mercedes. In the mk6 and mk7 they were great…. All this new stuff is garbage. |
