if you're using it all the time not just for emergency use then i guess that's totally different. in that case i would buy the best one you can afford if you're relying on it for track.

What tool brand are you running? I would use the portable inflator from that brand.

If you're already in the Milwaukee M12 ecospace, the inflator can be found on FBM for $60-80, tool only.

I've had mine for the last 3 years and it can easily do 6 -12 cars on a single charge.

Only downside is that it's consistently off by 2psi.

You know what I find most interesting about this thread is learning about all the stuff out there for sale that I had no idea even exists.

Like a filament dryer. Apparently that's a thing, who knew? haha

I have a Craftsman tire inflator. It has a cigarette lighter plug and uses their ecosystem of batteries. I take it with me to the track and on road trips. Air is not free anymore.

Badhobz lent me his CAT-branded battery pack with built in tire inflator which I think he bought from Costco. I believe it goes on sale from time to time, but is regularly stocked in store.

Thankfully, I didn't have to use it when I was in town. I appreciate his thoughtfulness. Vehicle in question was a 2004 Mini Cooper S with (at the time) 332,000KM and highly neglected from lack of maintenance.

Thanks all. I usually go wired for my tools (those radioshack rechargables let me down one too many times as a kid perhaps). I have some dead Dewalt batteries, but some living Einhell ones. I'll keep an eye out for Einhell... or maybe just let the missus do that for me at Christmas.

Anyone know of any places with some good black friday TV deals?

Looking for 120hz, 65-inch.

Usually purchase by TVs from Openbox, but looking for alternatives.

If you’re willing to spend some $$$ there’s probably some left over G3’s or A95L’s around at Visions etc.

Maybe even open box

Don't be afraid to negotiate a price at places like Visions. I've managed to walk out of Visions paying nowhere close to MSRP or advertised price many times.

Edit: We bought our Panasonic massage chair at Visions.

Likewise for TV... been using the same 40" LCD since 2011 and it works fine... but now that I have a huge house might as well get something bigger for the "movie room" area.

I don't want to lose 3 weeks of my life going down TV statistics rabbit holes... but my school of thought is:

Do you go massive and since it's not side by side with something and has decent NITS then it looks amazing compared to what you're used to... I'm thinking the 98" Samsung that's like $1k off at Costco right now for $3k.. or is there actual value in getting a 65" LG OLED Evo top of the line set?

Bigger is better? Or Quality is better? Can I even notice the quality if they're not side by side? FWIW Costco doesn't have the 98" on display anywhere that I've seen lol

Samsung 98": https://www.costco.ca/samsung-98%22-...000293237.html
LG 65" OLED Evo: https://www.costco.ca/lg-65%22-class...000179122.html

Or do you go completely no-name brand like Hisense or TCL for under $1k and get a warranty?

IMO high end TV’s are worth the price. Especially if you use it a lot

Was actually laying around watching YouTube and a few shows last night and thought to myself it’s so nice to have such a nice TV to watch this content on. You’re a bit ignorant without a side by side comparison but you’ll notice as you sift through content.

Very happy with my LG G3, however I will say that comparatively at these top level sets, Sony is still king imo. Especially for upscaling SDR content.

If you have a big space, then yea you kinda want bigger and bigger to make it feel more suited to the space. I have a 65” in a 12x15 foot room, sitting about 10 feet away and it’s about as big as I would ever go.. MAYBE a 70”

Buy the LG OLED from Costco during BF AND get a 5 year warranty for essentially peanuts.

EDIT: Also yeah figure out the space you have. I have a 11x15 TV area and 65 is about as large as I think I want to go for comfortable viewing. If it's bright (windows) OLED may not be the greatest idea, even the new EVO versions.

Apparently the Sony A75L OLED TV is on sale for $1400 today-only at Best Buy, according to RedFlagdeals.

As a former telecom tech, Philips are, imo, among the worst brands I’ve ever had to deal with lol

Philips and RCA are the same in terms of nothing ever seemed to work with universal remotes, couldn’t program Telus/Shaw remotes to them, HDMI compatibility issues etc. lol

On the point of OLED’s, imo the glare/bright room issues are mostly resolved, I have mine in a bright living room that gets uncontrollable ambient light and it’s fine

The brightness of OLEDs and the MLA tech seemed to have resolved most issues

Ah okay, good to know. My brother's B1 (I think? BX? older OLED) is not great in his living room during the day.

Check out Sunny Electronics. They're on Fraser Street across from John Oliver. I don't bother going anywhere else. They pretty much match prices from anywhere. I'm a repeat customer and that means a lot to them. Great service, too. If you're in a hurry, this place is not for you. Very laid back. The place is a little weird in that it looks like they're closed. You need to be buzzed in.

BTW, I'm a Panasonic fanboi.

I went in to BB and they told me it's website price... $1999 with $200 gift card... wouldn't budge and didn't care what I read online. $1999 is the same price as Costco... gift card is kinda like wtf cuz just forces you to buy something else from BB. plus their 2 year warranty is $340 and Costco's is free.

the 2 still works with the old unifying receiver. direct replacement for the old MX master. hated it for the first day, but it didn't take long to get used to it after a decade of MX masters

i refuse to give up my K800 keyboard, and didn't want to leave the old unifying system (including the old micro usb cable that's always on my desk).

Not sure what style / price point you're looking for but I went with this bed recently and came out nicer than expected. Ended up getting the matching nightstands and dresser as well.
