Can a failing liver recover? Is that something that can heal over time?

Don’t need to go to Korea to test for liver function lol

Locally places like false creek surgical centre do full body assessments for $3500-$5000

You can easily ask your doctor to do a blood test for liver enzyme function test for free.

Additional note: Blood tests (and the urine and ECG tests) have largely replaced all the other tests doctors used to order when you got older - like they no longer need to stick their finger up your butt to check your prostate anymore and they can catch things like cancel via the test.

If you're over 45 and were avoiding seeing the doctor b/c you didn't want your butthole to be tickled in that kinda way you can now rest easy and make that appointment to get a blood test instead.

The interpretation of " Getting your STi checked out," has changed quite a bit here over the years.

Hondaracer 01-15-2025 09:40 AM

Used to go there for their daily specials, pretty good deal although if I was searching out Mexican I’d probably go elsewhere.

Dry January got me thirsty for a frosty modello..

Not sure if related, but an old friend I follow on IG just opened his body scan business - specifically DEXA scan, RMR test, Vo2 max testing.

$300 for 10 tests. Doesn't say how much a DEXA scan is tho.

I bought a 10 test pre-sale in Nov 2024, Dexa hasn't arrived yet and they're thinking it's opening in Feb or Mar 2025.

At a certain point, I was worried about getting rug pulled as the chargeback period is ending soon. I also saw a post they only have operational costs for 2 years.

Buyers beware, if they close you lose $$$
