This is causing memories of VIP Auto to come up (the auto body dude who drove someone's car around, got caught due to the camera, then tried to deny it). Whose car was it again? This was in 2015 or 2016 I think.
This is why I leave a AirTag in the car when I drop it off for servicing or repairs.
Most shops are super respectful.
Damage on the car was my front fender, bumper, right head light, two wheels with rashes
Front end does have PPF
Mechanical wise, alignment was out of whack after this hit
Take a guess on the final bill
EDIT:
Forgot to mention that the car was a 2015 BMW X1 M Sport

I'm veering off topic but a friend of ours got rear ended in a Genesis (one of the SUVs, I don't remember which one) and despite more than a few air bags going off, I thought for sure they would write it off on the premise of cost to repair. Instead, ICBC decided to repair it full speed ahead. Car has been in the shop for 6 months+

In our friend's case, they've had a rental since the accident. Coming on to 7 months with no end in sight for completion of repair.

Remove/Reinstall:
Rear wheel
Rear windshield retainer
Rear door, door trim, door handle
Rear wheelhouse liner
Side skirt
Rear lamps x 2
Rear bumper cover and parking sensors
Repair the quarter panel (14 hrs repair of the quarter panel plus another 4 hrs to repair the inner wheel liner), bumper cover and alloy wheel, plus all the blending, painting, clear coat, taping etc...
Remount, balance the wheel
Recalibrate all the sensors, blind spot system, etc (sublet to Audi)
And a 4 wheel alignment
The winner is...
pastarocket who guessed $6000
let's all kindly give pastarocket a pat on the back by thanking his post here:
now it's getting confusing, we got 3 claims ongoing
BMW is totalled, salvage, rebuilt for sure.

And does your final total include the rental car? I excluded that in my case.
AstulzerRZD is the closet guess regarding the claim.
It was $10,000 grand total, $5,000 of it just being on labour alone
Eff-1 yes it was an ICBC claim as the other party was at fault, courtesy car was provided by the shop
Bumper, and head light was replace, PPF was also replaced also.
JDMdreams after the repairs, I sold the BMW X1 shortly, it never drove the same afterwards. I replaced it with the Tesla Model Y
