I still think that there has to be better or tighter security to let cars access into the area. Like for example, each vendor applies for one badge that has a QR code where the security fellow can scan it to see if it is legit. If car does not have legit vendor pass to get into area, don't lift the gate, period. It won't prevent it 100% but you might have stopped this fellow from entering the area.

The suspect in the deadly Filipino street festival attack that killed at least 11 people in Vancouver on Saturday night has been charged with murder.
The BC Prosecution Service tells 1130 NewsRadio that Kai-Ji Adam Lo now faces eight counts of second-degree murder.
According to court documents online, Lo remains in custody after an initial court hearing at 2:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
Earlier on Sunday, the Vancouver Police Department shared that Lo has “a significant history of interactions with police and health care professionals related to mental health.”

Is there somewhere I can donate a meager $50 to, for some sort of memorial or such for the victims of the worst violence in Vancouver?
If someone has go-fund-mes for people in recovery for this event, please post them here, because all publicity helps. Lots of people will need years of support to recover from this. Maybe this thread can document some of the stories of the still-living victims of this incident, and maybe inspire others through their strong recoveries in the face of such senseless chaos.
