Help me decide on a phone!

My K800i finally broke down a couple of weeks ago, now I'm stuck with a phone I used to use 4 years ago.

I'm thinking of purchasing the Nokia N82 or N79. I have used a Softbank before and thinking of either the 920sh/923sh or Docomo SH906i.

The reason why I gave up on the Japanese phones was that they did not support Chinese input, but only read 99% chinese sms.

My price range goes around $400-$500. And I know the Japanese phones are a little bit more.

What are the pros and cons? I love Japanese phones because of looks but I kind of want a phone that is more reliable with good funtions and that I will use for a while. I don't want to be changing phones every 6-12 months. But those Japanese phones just grab too much of my attention.

Suggestions or Opinions??
