I found 1 review that the charger will make the iPhone heat too much and break it. Is it true? I know the iPhone got some heat when it's being recharged, even with the wall charger that comes with the phone.
no never ever had that happened. i buy things from ebay all the time. im no cellphone wiz but do u mean heat it up till it melts? aluminum melts at 348 degrees if im correct?
Usually car chargers have a fuse to prevent that from happening.
But remember, you get what you pay for. Getting a $0.01 car charger might not be the same as getting a $10 one.
ived bought $.01 + free shipping cellphone stuff off ebay before. although i find that the hardware quality is not the best (cheap plastic that is broken easily.. but you have to be really hard on it), trust me it beats paying for $30 for something oem
some of these chargers only have a fuse in them and no power regulation. beware. goto dealextreme or focalprice. both have free shipping and buyer reviews.
