GO YUSHIN OKAMI!
Yes it's another UFC thread but there isn't enough talk about him (and RS is mostly asian right?)
He's the best asian fighter in the UFC (yes better than Gomi and Akiyama) and fighting for the #1 contention against Vitor Belfort Oct. 13th!
He's the most boring asian fighter in the UFC (more boring than everyone except Jon Fitch and Grey Maynard) and fighting for the #1 contention against Vitor Belfort Oct. 13th!

obviously u guys didn't watch his fights against tanner, linhares or his fights in japan (pride and k-1). Although most of the time he wins by decision, he's known for his outstanding judo/wrestling, ground and pound and decent boxing. All u want are guys who throw themselves at their opponents and as soon as the fight goes to the ground u boo.

obviously u failed to read my original post. Best asian fighter in UFC is Yushin Okami. Gomi's got good power but he's inconsistent. Akiyama is 1-1 with a submission loss and a split decision win. I've watched pride since its beginnings so of course I know there's good asian fighters outside of UFC (personal fav is mach sakurai and saku)
Wow, didn't know there was so much hate for Yushin Okami. He's a good fighter who has a ton of skill. So who's everyone rooting for?
best asian fighter will have to be Genki Sudo in terms of overall awesome
great MMA fighter, great entertainer and great person

I actually like Okami. But knowing him he'll probably beat Vitor and then injure himself again. The guy has the worst luck when it comes to title shots.
Funny how the clip cuts off the part where they declare it to be an illegal up kick. Also, possibly TUF alum Troy "rude boy" Mandaloniz's claim to fame.
Aoki is like the guy said above, a douche. Talks so much crap and boasts about his submission skills. Look at the recent Strikeforce match between Aoki and Melendez. Complete domination by Melendez. Aoki became all soft and was crying post match.
