Receiving EI
 

if someone is on EI, and he recieves a dividend from a corporation.
does the dividend reduce his EI payments where he has to pay it back to the govt?
since dividends is not active income from employment, its a bit confusing

No, investment income doesn't affect your EI. Unless daytrading is your job.
