Car Movies
Would a thread on favourite car movies be of interest? Either the entire film, or a scene featuring an automotive moment (chase scene, cool car, whatever). e.g. The opening scene of an Orson Welles film noir from the early 60's, "A Touch of Evil" is a really long, unbroken tracking shot featuring a Chrysler Imperial convertible, that has had a bomb placed in the trunk, slowly cruising through the streets of a Mexican border town. OR maybe there already is such a thread? |

My faves:
- Two Lane Blacktop (1971) - Thunder Road (1958) - Vanishing Point (1971) - Drive (2011) Honourable Mention: Duel, Mad Max, LeMans, Fast & Furious and Steve McQueen's motorcycle scenes from The Great Escape (I know, not a car, but . . .) |

Duel

Torque (bike racing) (2004)
Redline (2007) Both are terrible movies, but there's mindless racing and speeding in them. |
