What's the closest thing to a racecar you can buy in BC?
It's a pretty broad question, I know. But what's the closest thing to a street legal race car of any type you can buy in BC and put a license plate on?
New or used. I don't think you can get an Ariel Atom here. Curious what else is out there. |
Super 7 Caterham?
|
Corvette Z06
GT2 RS |
Lexus RC-F with the Track Package?
|
Viper ACR?
|
Lotus Exige.
Once in a while the lotus dealer in Vancouver will get in some money laundering special in and they charge stupid money for it. I bought a better car in the UK than the one I saw there at half the price (but obviously there's a lot of hassle involved) but 8500rpm with a super charger right behind you is bad ass. I think the new Emira with the v6 is going to be amazing as well. Otherwise, buy a used gt3 car and just trailer it. Just remember, the closer it is to being a race car, the less driveable it will be on the road. |
Spec Miatas can be plated, and they can look entirely unassuming on the outside to not attract any attention.
A gentleman at VCMC used to have an Ultima GTR that he built himself. It was plated and everything. F5 818S is street legal too in Canada too. |
FRS with a tomei exhaust, not Street legal though:troll::troll::troll:

Porsche Cayman GT4RS, 911GT3RS?

They aren't *really* road legal, but stage rally cars are plated.

Probably Kalson’s old exige S lol. I also came in here to say any of the stage rally cars but you win.
I guess Charles wong and his actual Ferrari race car is technically the winner https://st.motortrend.com/uploads/si...rus-tunnel.jpg |
Street legal Ariel Atom has been done in BC. That would be my first choice and Viper ACR as close second.

rocket bunny
|
Wouldn’t that just get you a VI? :lol
