LCD screen? hahah how much? Aren't you afraid of someone jacking your car with the screen there?  I thought about getting one too but I don't want someone to break into my car and steal it.

it's really easy to get it to work.. 'cause it's only like 4 wires... we actually were playing around with the apex'i auto timer
... it uses the same wiring.. but we were just testing it to find out if the wired power-feedback was from the blitz turbo timer or from the car... and we found out it was from the car. Actually, using that dial also saved us the step of making a relay for the alarm to make everything work... so it wasn't a bad idea at all to use the dial.
As for the LCD screen, I was going to get my friend to mold the screen into the center counsol ('cause I was going to get him to mold the safc too)... but I mean, if anyone wants to steal something bad enough, they can always steal it.... can't worry too much..
the screen was $250... quite cheap for a "real" lcd screen considing that a little playstation I LCD screen is going for $199
