Hey Bob... definely use copper plugs. I know we talked about not using the champions. But seems like everyone says copper plugs are the way to go. I use them and I love them. And I actually did notice a change when I switched from platinum to copper. They are supposed to be gapped at .032 (lots of research on this at SF, just search "copper spark plugs")
Oh yeah, when you go to synthetic oil probably use 15W50 or something. It's so much thinner than dino oil, plus you are driving it mainly in the summer weather.
This is both what I have put in my car, aftert spending a lot of hours reading and researching about both things. Seems to be what everyone agrees on though.

Oh yeah, and there's no need to have to change copper plugs every oil change. They are good for like 20,000 miles. Maybe change them 2 - 3 times a year, that is if you are driving it all the time. I change my plugs every 3rd oil change... and they have always been in good shape when I take them out. They are dirt cheap anyways though!!
Also, if you run lots of boost (or advanced timing?), I heard it's a good idea to go 1 heat range colder than stock.
