Radar detectors don't do shit. I've usually been paced or have claimed to have been paced. Been radar'd once (1/9). I drive crazy when i got a radar detector. Even as of late just getting dinged for 8 months.

mines saved me more than 10 times since buying it... you just have to learn how to use them properly, and avoid buying a cheap POS.
