I totally understand what you mean....but most people don't know anything about tanning studio's...so you can't really say you don't believe in something you probably know much about.
In fact...if you want a lesson real quick, the bulbs that we put in our beds have the same uv's as the sun...uv a, b and c...the bad uv's (uv c) isn't in our bulbs. So essentially we are providing around the year sun for people without some of the harmful agents...plus alot of people tan for medical reason's because vitamine D is such a huge part of a heathly life style and most people don't get enough! So it may not be the sun exactly..but its not bad at all...pretty much the same as natural sunlight...just a little better because there is control and protection.
