I hear ya there... I don't want to insure mine until march... but I didn't get to drive it at all since LAST march, so I am pretty tempted to put 3 months on it and drive it until it starts to get too cold and crappy.
I don't think I am going to buy another beater either though, because I wanna buy a new laptop. So I'm stuck... riding the bus sucks donkey nuts.
