depemds on how you rperceive the spirits to be... if you perceive them as all looking exactly the way they looked when hey died horrible deaths, then sure, it is pretty freaky. But I just try to picture my parents as I always knew them... sometimes wearing nicer clothes maybe.
But picturing them in a better light makes me more comfortable with that sense...
