I've been MS Sidewinder Force Feedback (II or Pro or something? Can't remember.) ever since Vietnam. It makes flying a lot smoother and easier. (Notice how you can't press more than 2 or 3 keys at a time?) Now you can maneuver, incrementally adjust the throttle, and shoot at the same time. Having flare, map, and such buttons map to the stick helps.
