Dude, I'm running the same video card (256-Bit) with 2.5 P4 and 512 MB RAM, and I'm getting at least 40-50 fps in 1024 x resolution.
I use medium to low settings. No AA/AF. There's got to be something wrong with your comp. Go to
www.tweakguides.com and look for the guide for BF2.
