Actually, it's supposed to be a multi-game server browser.
For example, if you have Doom3 and BF2.
You can choose to filter BF2 only, and let's say, you want only the ranked servers that have FF on, with PB, and not empty. All that can be done in ASE. The same can be done to other games, such as BF1942, AOE, CS, HL2, Jedi Knight, Unreal, etc... The list goes on. Other filters include, game version, VOIP, ping, geographic location, server specs, global unlocks, map size, maps, time limit, autoblance... and more. Btw, this can be done MUCH quicker than the built-in one in BF2.
You can choose servers that you can store in your favorites folder(s). The servers list will show information such as IP, pack lost %, ping, name, flux, map, game type, and location.
The friends' list is another feature of ASE. You can track where each other is. All you do, is click on the server that your friend is on (which will show up on your friends' list), and it'll launch automatically and join that particular server.
The best thing is, it's free to try (for 7 days, and 7 days more, and 7 days...).
