grrr....I hate this...I can't decide which winter beater to get....
1990 Chevy Beretta GTZ...2.3L 4 banger Quad4. dual overhead cam, 16 valve, 5 speed, 180hp stock, 16s, nice kit, stock...needs a steering rack or power steering pump...still works just sketchy at full lock (probably psp), windshield cracked, few small things...BUT...hauls ass, shifts hard, clutch great....probably EPA: 22/31mpg
1989 Mazda 323...1.6L manual, will need clutch w/in few months...haven't looked at it yet....EPA: 28/33
HOWEVER...I barely drive around town...the amount I drive, I could afford a V8....it's mostly the to/from Island trips and Vernon/Kelowna that matter....I know that if I was SENSIBLE I should hit the 323...but I have a feeling the GTZ would be much more fun
