No way a rogue can keep a mage stunlock either. Even just with decent PVP gears, a mage can never be killed 1 on 1 if he can time his barrier correctly.
A mage can lose to a priest with dots also. But again, the barrier can dispell dots can't it? Then after getting out of barrier, polymorph and run
