Exactly, if you think you're going to lose, you can always just run.
HKS, it's not all theorycraft. I've killed many mages in group fights, and I've killed several 1v1. When it comes down to it though, a good mage will always beat an equally skilled/geared warrior. It's just a matter of not doing something dumb. If you're a frost mage, the warrior will never even be in striking range, if you're fire/arcane, you'll be able to kill him so fast after you sheep him that it's not a worry. The two talisman trinkets just seal the deal, they arent even necessary.
