I hear ya Mark, i know the stock clutch is pretty good, but mine is also alreadt pretty worn. I got the spec for around 500 shipped so it wasn't all that bad. But when I do it i will probably just buy a new disk instead of the whole kit.
As for hg, that is just for my own peace of mind. Apparently the motor was rebuilt 20k before I boughit it, but the guy had no idea as to exactly what was done. I don't want to run 15psi on stock headbolts, and it's something I wanted to replace anyways. If the engine blows again, the car is going off a cliff.
As for the maft-pro/emanage. Even if they don't figure out the timing control it's still almost cheaper than buying an safc and lexus afm... plus the idle from what I hear is sometimes shit with the lex... and tons more tuning points with emanage/maft plus I already have a laptop I can plug in and tune with
