This next one was also american, happened this past year:
first off, they tried to order a hamburger 'rare' which is quite common in the states, but i told them we can only do them 'well.'
Lady:
Is this hamburger made from beef?
me:
yes it is 100% canadian beef.
Lady:
it tastes different.
Lady's husband:
Oh, its cause they have mad cow disease up here.
i get so many stupid questions, i cant remember all of them lol
