no, holy/disc spec is also the way to go.
the priests that want high ranking usualy spec holy/disc for group pvp.
shadow priests are useless imo. who cares if they can "melt face", they are useless in group pvp.
gear wise they would probably have to settle for pvp gear because all the +shadow dmg gear should go towards locks.
