I rather go for Nikon; it somehow feels better (heavier??) and much more solid than entry_level Canon.

I also quite like the feel and functionality of Olympus Evolt 500, not bad specs at all at the price, but there's not much of additional equimpment available, correct me if I'm wrong.

I guess I'll wait a bit, maybe till springtime to see what's cooking.
