people are asking conklin a little much to expect him to be on top of his game going into the last 5 minutes of a stanley cup playoff game when he has zero playoff experience, and hasn't played a game since april. when you've been out of action for so long its hard to get back into a grove, especially one where you can know where players will be on the ice without even looking. its also hard for a team who is 55 minutes into a playoff game to adjust to a new goalie and know how he will play. you're thinking about getting through those last 5 minutes, scoring that last goal or at least holding off till the overtime incase roloson gets back. its hard to come off that adrenaline, calm down and think and adjust to a cold goalie. the team and the conklin both were unprepared and it is unfortunate. they should not have given up a 3-0 lead and put themselves in that situation in the first place.
