Yeah, running cars are good
Looks like I'm going to be taking mine off the road next weekend to rebuild the engine. Lots of little things that I'd like to tackle all at once
-Bad valve stem seals (puffs blue every startup!)
-Clacking lifters
-Leaky rear main seal
-Stock (but still OK) HG that needs upgrading
I figure I might as well pull the motor, and just give'r on it. As it stands now I think I'm gonna do the works
Metal Gasket (HKS/Greddy/Cometic ... any opinions on which is best?)
ARP everything (head blots, main studs, rod bolts)
Oil pump
Ross pistons (of $$ permits)
Sounds like a fun time, and a hell of a lot of machine shop work
Anybody have preferences on shops or know of guys that have experience with supra heads?
...startin' to sound like a big chunk to chew!
