A taxi ran a red light and slammed into me. I was pushed across the intersection and up over the curb. I'm really glad no one was standing on that corner. The damage was over $15,000, so it was a total loss. The frame was bent inwards, the engine knocked off its mounts, both adjustable front suspensions broken. ICBC gave me a really good price for the car because I kept it in mint condition, had low KM's and I had the rare OEM adjustable suspension. I took the cheque, paid off my debts and bought my DSLR kit!
Now I'm stuck with just the Prius.
I haven't settled with ICBC yet, so hopefull some good will come out of that...
