Maybe check out the Nikon D40. I'm not even sure if it's out yet or not, but that sounds like it may be something you're looking for. You're looking at paying at least $700 or more new with a lens for any entry level DSLR. You can check out www.vistek.ca or www.cameracanada.com for more information.
