Yeah, that's just using my 300D's kit lens (cheap 18-55mm), no lens hood... shielded as best I could with my hand but it didn't really help much. No polarizer either, as that could mess up the exposure from one frame to the next.
Don't remember what I used to stitch it, probably whatever came bundled with the camera (PhotoStitch maybe?)
Actually have all the shots for 360 degrees, but the back couple just show the roof of my car and the road and the trees along the other side of the road really didn't stitch well, so I left a little out at the ends.
