He was just trying to stop some guy from hitting on my roommate's girlfriend. It wasn't a physical confrontation at all, until 6 bouncers started dragging my buddy out (160lbs, skinny) where they proceeded to beat him unconscious on the street. RCMP did nothing, but no surprise there... Anyone who knows the name "Cyr" would know why.
