Range of the flash is 56 metres at 100 ISO. Range of the flash in wireless mode relative to the camera? The manual says 5m, but I've used it much farther away. It's not radio controlled, but optical, so you can shoot around corners, but not through walls. In bright daylight, the sensor has to be turned towards the camera to see the trigger flash. In darkness, I've placed the flash in another room with the doors open and it went off.
I just tried some test shots. I put the flash on the bathroom counter and shot from the livingroom. Distance - more than 5m.
I put the flash on the floor around the corner. Distance - about 5m.
I wish hummingbirds would come to my house...
