Its not really hard to find "due cause" to fire somebody. If he wants to fire you, he will...and if he knows anything at all, he'll be able to do it without you having any reprecussions. On the bright side, jobs are easy to come by these days.

I show up on time, do my job and never talk back to him, so what could he get me on? Plus I'm in good with the assistant manager so I think he'd be on my side. I don't think the owner would allow the manager to fire me either cause we get along too. I work with the owner both my shifts so he would know there's no justifable reason to fire me
