In a commercial ad, the name of the company is always quite prominent. It is prominent in your picture, but the letters need to be facing the camera head on. In your pic, the letter side of the barrel is facing slightly away. The lighting should be even on the barrel too. The right side of the barrel is too dark compared to the left side, and the highlights on the bands shouldn't be there. In a commercial shoot, they'd use huge diffusers, softboxes & reflectors to get rid of any distracting highlights and shadows.
I'm only just writing this because you wanted an explanation (which I should have written in the first place) and in no way is meant to take away from your effort.

In retrospect, I would have used a little bit of fill on the right side of the barrel, via a reflector or off-camera flash.
