It IS afterall a bit of a sissy bar, but it dosent affect my softtop like most of them do. The bar is crash tested, hard mounted to the chassis, and SCCA approved. Anything else for the street is overkill IMO. Plus. Why spend another $500 just to look "hard" when for the street mine will do the same thing
