I took this shot for a charity auction for leukemia research in London, Ontario for an event called The Faces of Cancer. As odd as it may sound, the creator of the event found my photography via facebook through a mutual friend. This was the first time anyone has ever asked me to produce anything that was actually going to be sold for money. I was a little nervous and the confidence was low in fear that I wouldn't even make up the $60 for the frame and $10 for the printing. However, I just got word from that the piece was sold yesterday for $450. Awesome awesome feeling haha

Good to hear, but who has the rights to the image? Did you stipulate that you keep the rights to the image in the contract?
