yes it can be but i doing it diffent way so shim is good thing to use to certon point
remmber i chnageing buch of stock remove restion witch cause higher oil persure
and with the stock stuff most off all that persure will be blead of anys wasy aka you oil cooler wonte be used as much since ti will bleed it off this si why i ran a bigger oil cooler on my old set up
and word has t you can't really shim the oil releav vavle to muhc befor you start blocking the oil passge cause of the piston not moven far eghough witch is bad
