Still, an extra stop on the ISO to give you an extra stop on the shutter will help avoid the motion blur.
I love shooting at the Giants games now, because they've HUGELY improved the lighting - whiter, more efficient lights on BOTH sides of the rink, instead of the yellowish ones that used to be only on one side, with a big block in the center turned off to prevent washing out the jumbotron.
