Pho Thai Son is not what it used to be. I don't go there anymore.
Pho in Surrey? As good as you make it seem, I would not go anywhere over the Patullo or Port Mann Bridge for pho.
Here in Toronto, on the other hand, a few minutes away from my hotel at Spadina and Dundas is Pho 88 which is pretty good. Their "house special" is nothing like what we get in Vancouver. It's missing a tonne of the meats but damn, the noodles are perfect and the soup is wicked, however loaded with MSG galore.
