Lo and behold one day when I was in there alone (and i pressed the 3rd floor) it by passed the third, went straight to the 7th and no one was there. Then it proceeded to the 12th floor (where no one was there), before finally going back down to the 3rd floor.
Needless to say, I had to take a pretty big dump right after that.
