Then Megasquirt might be up your alley because it is quite well supported by the older Toyotas. Get the SMT version of Megasquirt for about $500.. you are good to go.

Not to put down on any engines.. I don't think ECUs should cost several times over the engine it is going to lord over!
My friend in England whom I am collaborating on the new heads.. uses a Motec 880 on his M70.. I think it is overpowered for what it is worth.. granted you do get aircraft grade wire harness and connectors!

I'm looking to run a full-standalone because the factory AFM and ECU is too restrictive of my power goals. I'm planning on running 540cc injectors, stock fuel pump, and 1 bar boost on a JDM CT020B turbo. With proper tuning, I should be short of 300rwhp with a nice torque curve. Anything beyond that power will require forged pistons, cams/cam gears and the like.
godwin: It's for the GenII 3S-GTE which is restricted by the factory AFM.
