I found a Tattoo of a Samurai online about 4 years ago. It looked pretty cool but it was pretty small and somewaht 'westernized'. I took this image in to Blackwater Tattoos (Jesse Wark) and asked him to revamp the style to make it more traditional Japanese and put some more detail in it.
Two weeks later he drew up what you see above. I liked it so much that I booked an appointment and paid him a deposit. After 6 months I went in and had it done. It took just over 5 hours and I'm very happy with the results.
