That's a pretty good shot considering you're using a point-and-shoot. What I mean is they're not as fast as DSLR. There is always that 1/2 or 1/4 second of delay. Keep working on it! You're doing good!

I just picked up a Canon SD1000 at Costco for same price as you. I decided to go with this as it's a bit smaller and I can always carry it with me

No image stabilizer, but I was looking at the size of it more than features.
