There really is nothing to do to get them to work here now. Older Jap phones like the 903SH (which, coincidentally, was offered in the U.K. before) can be software unlocked; pop your SIM in and go. Newer ones just need a SIM hack; pop the SIM hack in, slip your SIM underneath and go.
