Went to Diez Vista a few weeks back when we got the first heat wave. Views were awesome, but then they look pretty much the same all across the 10 views
Good news is that the floating bridge is now fixed on the south end of the lake. Not much of a "floating bridge" anymore though as it is only about 4 meters across now....the rest is a gravel road.
Also went down to some trails at Pacific Spirit Park two weeks ago; mainly it's a flat trail along the edge of the water that I went on. But don't let that deceive you...the rocks that are along the edge KILL your ankles.
Went up to the Grind today. Holy stinky people Batman! I'm not a fast hiker, so it took me a tad under 2 hours to complete the Grind. I don't think I'll ever head there again on the weekends because it's simply too crowded.
